The Smart Policing Initiative presented at the 2012 National Sheriffs’ Association Conference June 16-20, 2012 in Nashville, TN. Members of the Palm Beach County and Evans County SPI sites presented on the principles of SPI and the application of smart policing in sheriffs’ offices through community collaboration and intelligence led policing. This presentation included case studies and presentations of findings and evaluations from the sites.
