The Smart Policing Initiative participated in two panels and one roundtable at the 2016 Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences annual meeting March 29-April 2, 2016 in Denver, CO. Participants from the Evans County, Pullman, Phoenix, Cambridge, Chula Vista, Kansas City, and Lowell SPI sites presented findings from their SPI projects and discussed challenges in implementing organizational change in SPI. These presentations included findings from projects related to implementing new technology, engaging with the community, and reducing domestic violence. CNA and BJA additionally facilitated and participated in these panels.
