Project Overview
With increases in violent crime, Denver Police Department (DPD) intends to strengthen their current PNI efforts following the strategies initial success in the city. DPD will apply the lessons learned from the Pilot PNI program in three districts to the remaining city districts to ensure that all hot spots are being addressed. This will be the first example of an agency-wide PNI implementation and DPD intends to lead the new standard of data-driven policing. The Denver Police Department will be partnering with the University of Cincinnati for technical assistance and program evaluation.
